Static and dynamic image analysis is a method utilized to determine particle size distribution and particle shape parameters according to their particle projections onto the acquired picture processed by the analysis software. The difference between static and dynamic image analyses is the relative motion between the sample and the lens of the camera.
In static image analysis, the sample is statically located on the carrier, above which a camera is installed for image capturing. For dynamic image analysis, particles pass through the focal plane of the camera to be captured clearly. For both image analyses, cameras with different magnifications are available for image acquisition of particles with different particle size ranges.
